Lauren is really starting to get a personality! I love it!!! She smiles like crazy and is cooing! It’s so amazing to hear her “talk” to us! Getting a picture while she is smiling is not so easy! This was the best I could do!! I’m sure there will be many more to come!

Lauren had her 1 month check up today and all is well! She is growing like a weed!! She’s up to 21 1/2 inches long and she weighs 11 pounds! That’s the 66th percentile for length and the 92nd percentile for weight!!! Dr. Hourigan said she is a strong, healthy little girl! She got her second Hepatitis vaccine and she was not a fan!! I’ve never heard her scream so hard or for so long! I felt so bad!! She definitely takes after Daddy when it comes to getting shots!

Can you believe it?!?! I can’t!!! My little girl is a month old already! I don’t know where the time went….it really flew by!! She truley is amazing and I love her more and more each day. I count my blessings with every little face and noise she makes. I know how lucky I am to have her and I will not take it for granted!

Here are a few things I’ve learned over the past 4 weeks…..
1) I don’t need nearly as much sleep as I previously thought I did.
2) Giving a baby a kiss is a great stress reliever.
3) It’s not gas, she’s smiling because she’s happy.
4) Baby yawns and sneezes are possibly the cutest things in existence.
5) Giving birth is the easiest way to lose a lot of weight fast.
6) They don’t need to be on solid foods, formula poop smells.
7) Newborn sized clothes do not fit all newborns.
8.) Having a baby brings a whole new level of love to your life. Not only for the baby, but also towards your spouse.
