So, 77 days ago Lauren was still in my belly and we were impatiently waiting to meet her. So much has changed since then! She will be 11 weeks old tomorrow and every second of those 11 weeks has flown by!! Here’s a little update for everyone on how she’s doing!

She’s getting so big and she surprises me by doing something new every day! Like last night, she slept all night! 9pm to 5am! It was amazing!! I’m thinking it was a fluke but we’ll see….maybe it was the first of many! I’m not getting my hopes up, though! She also is smiling and talking up a storm! She cracks me up with all her sounds and melts my heart every time she smiles or laughs! But she pretty much stops whenever the camera is around….like Uncle Eric said, she’s a diva! She’s starting to reach for things and she is sucking her thumb, which I think is incredibly cute, plus it helps her get back to sleep when she wakes up!! And oh boy is she growing like crazy! She now barely fits into her 3 months clothes. On to 3-6 months size! And once we finish up the size 1 diapers that we have, she’s ready to move to size 2′s!!

The warm weather is quickly approaching so cook outs and get togethers will be on the rise! We can’t wait to let Lauren have some fun in the sun!! But if she’s anything like me, which we think she is, with the SPF 50+ of course!!! We hope to see everyone soon!

We took Lauren to get her first pictures taken! We went to Picture People in Taunton. She did a pretty good job….it was hard to get her to smile because we couldn’t get too close to her or we’d be in the photographers way. She also managed to pee all over their blanket during the 2 minutes she was sans diaper! Daddy was proud of her for that!! They did a really good job though and the pics came out beautiful!!

I can not believe it’s been 2 months already!!! Time is flying by! Lauren is such a good baby! And maybe I’m a little bias, but she really is gorgeous!!

Victor and I are adjusting to the life of a parent. It can be a little stressful at times but it is all so worth it! We are tired but we know that we’ll be able to sleep more some day, even if it is 20 years from now!

Lauren is amazing and we are enjoying every minute of her!! At the end of each day, I thank God that we have her and I truly wonder what we did to be so lucky. The word love doesn’t even come close to explaining how we feel about her. It’s something so much more. And it grows every day, just like our little sweetpea!!
